We stopped in Milledgeville, GA so
that we could spend some time visiting with Ed's sister, Myrna and her
family. We had dinner with them a couple of times and Ed got to spend an
entire afternoon with Myrna, for the first time in far too long.
Needless to say, he enjoyed this thoroughly.

We spent
two nights at Little River Park in Milledgeville. This is a private
park situated on Lake Sinclair, just off of US441. The park has a large
campground with many lake front sites, a marina, boat ramp, bait shop and camp
store. Many fishing tournaments are held here every year
and it appears to be very popular with fishermen throughout the region.
We had a lake front site with full hook-up for $25.00 per night. There
is also a good restaurant, named Chobee's, on the park
premises, that specializes in catfish. We've eaten there many times and
have always enjoyed it. |
