WINTER NEWSLETTER
Greetings Fellow Campers,
I hope everyone is doing well and keeping a eye on Spring to come. The expression “three dog night” comes from when it’s so cold that you have to sleep with three dogs to stay warm. Hopefully the weather will break soon and we can all drag our RV’s out of mothballs and get ready for a great season.
If you check your Camping Schedule for 2008 you will see that you need to make reservations for River Plantation in Sevierville by February 1st. Please call 1-800-758-5267 and make your reservations. This is a good shake down trip to ensure everything is checked out for the year. There is lots to do in the Sevierville area and you will be given the time to do as you like. I will try and set up a location for our evening meal so we can all be together and if the weather doesn’t cooperate we can be snug and warm..
Joe Jaynes and I will attend the State Meeting on March 30th to April 1st and have the plans for our Spring Samboree ready for the April campout at Baileyton. I am going to push for a Yard Sale at our Samboree so continue to collect items we can use in June.
I have finalized our plans
for our February Dinner meeting. It will be Thursday, February 14th at
