Friday afternoon, the Ottos, Pauls and Steinhoffs , who had all arrived on Thursday afternoon, ate lunch together and spent the rest of the day goofing off, reading, and gabbing.

Friday night, we all prepared our own meals and planned to eat together outside, but rain prevented it. After dinner the weather cleared and we sat around Ron's portable campfire and chewed the fat.
Saturday, we hung out and solved all the problems of the world. In late afternoon Joe Jaynes came to visit us and stayed for dinner. We went out and found a wonderful restaurant we all agreed merited another visit when we're back in that area. After dinner we again sat around and talked. After Joe left, we continued to sit around and talk, then headed for bed.
We all departed Sunday morning, looking forward seeing everyone next month at Ft. Chiswell.
